Geographic Information System (GIS) or Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer-based information system that is used to process and store geographic-based data or information. This study aims to produce a geographic information system for watershed monitoring and surveillance by visualizing spatial data on watershed conditions in North Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. The data displayed in this study are watershed profile data which contains the names and addresses as well as coordinates of river flows in North Musi Rawas Regency, watershed monitoring point data consisting of 30 monitoring points and Water Quality Index (IKA) data which is the result of sample test on water quality monitoring at watershed monitoring points.
In building the WebGIS Information System, it is also supported by MySQL, XAMPP, Arc GIS and phpMyAdmin applications. MySQL is used to design the system database, XAMPP is used for the web server, ArcGIS is used to manage the spatial data to be displayed and phpMyAdmin is used as the database server. |
